I often drive everyone around me insane by constantly talking endlessly about movies, how they are made, what the creators try to provoke out of an audience, and why I feel so passionate about the art form as a whole.

I am also passionate about film criticism being used as a method of demonstrating how all areas of a film's production can be just as important as one another. So many people focus on just the acting and the script, but there is so much more to this wonderful art form.

As a result, this blog is the perfect place to truly understand the effort that many people go to in order to get your favourite films on screen, as well as bringing light to those who either have bad material to work with, or simply aren't trying. Regardless of which reason, all films should be examined fairly, and given a chance. And that is what I intend to do!
